The Kashmiris and Sikhs demonstrated, on January 29, 2011, in front of the Pearson Convention Centre, 2638 Steeles Ave E. Brampton, Ontario, where the Indian Government's personnel have been celebrating the 'Brahmins-Hindus' alleged Indian democracy's 62nd Republic Day. All walks of life including children, woman and elders participated in the event. The participants were protesting against gross human rights violations, persecution, terrorism, atrocities, etc., which are being committed in the alleged Indian democracy, since its inception. In addition to gross violations of human rights, the Indian administration has been committing genocide of non Hindu minorities (the Kashmiris, Sikhs, Muslims, Assamese, Manipuris, Adivaasis, Dalits, Christians, etc.) have been committed in the highly anti-non-Brahmins-Hindu minorities in the name of being a democratic nation, since 15th August, 1947. The overview of the presentation done by the Kashmiri and Sikh leaders was as follows:

Farooq Siddiqi (Pappa Sahib) termed the Indian repression much worse than enacted by the dictatorial regimes of the Arab World and asked the world to take notice of the simmering anger in Kashmir before it is too late. The new generation of Kashmiris is extremely angry and frustrated as India continues its relentless military repression. The world must take notice and convince India to address the just demands of self determination before a Kashmiri revolution topples everything and engulfs the whole region. Questioning the rationale of Pakistan's Kashmir policy, Papa said, "It is quite confusing that the Pakistani Government claims to support Kashmiris' right to self determination but engages India on Kashmir in a bilateral framework that does not recognize Kashmiris as a party".

Dr. Azrab Khan commented that more than 200,000 Kashmiri citizens have been killed since 1988; more than 500,000 Muslims in general; more than 3.4 million Sikhs; 15,000 Assamese and 7-sister of Assam; more than 312,500 Christians; hundreds of thousands of Dalits, etc. Who says that the Indian state is a democratic state? Rather, the Indian claim of being a democratic republic is a hoax, as it continues to commit atrocities on Non-Hindu minorities, the Kashmiris and Sikhs in particular.

Khawaja Rafiq said that Justice Qadri of the Gujarat High court is on record when he said "Indian state failed to protect the lives of Muslims of Gujarat state, under Article 14 of the Indian Constitution."

Ajit Singh Sahota said since 15th August, 1947, including the Indian constitution of 1950, Indian democracy has failed appallingly to protect human life since it became an independent state, predominantly ruled by the 'Brahmins and high caste Hindus'.

Sardar Balkar Singh reiterated that the Sikhs have no Constitutional right according to the Indian Constitution of 1950, Article 25. He said Sonia Gandhi and L K Advani are enemies of Sikhs, and other minorities' i.e., the fundamentalists and militants castes of the 'Brahmins and Hindus'. Fifty years later we are saying Master Tara Singh and Baldev Singh were traitors and despite the fact the British were recognizing three nations Sikh, Muslim and Hindus who will have veto power in the decision but their offer was ignored. He also added that we do not have to wait another 50 years in making the decision. Why not declare now that the 'unelected' Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and Parkash Singh Badal, are traitors, of the Sikhs and human rights violators, along with a real hurdle in the freedom of the 'Landless Sikh Nation, PUNJAB, Khalistan'.

Bhupinder Singh Dhillon said in Punjab (Khalistan), over 50,000 Sikhs have been languishing in Indian jails without any charge; with prime examples of Sardar Daljit Singh Bittu, President, Panch Pradhani, Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana, Bhai Dilawar Singh, Professor Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar and their close associates, These Sikh freedom fighters are in jails under bogus charges.

Mr Ayub Qureshi a veteran Kashmiri leader affirmed that we shall not sleep until our nation is free.

Mr. Habib Yousafzai specifically mentioned "we would like to let the world know that we are determined to no longer live under the occupation of the Indian government as we are not a part of it and never have been. He demanded that the Indian government must cease its illegal occupation on Kashmir, because it has failed to protect the life of its citizens.  He further condemned the New Delhi administration for asking the State Governments, police and soldiers to use "oppressive tactics" for suppressing the will of Kashmiris and other non-Brahmins-Hindus, specifically the Sikhs of Punjab, citizens of Assam and its 7-sister, etc."  He further cautioned to the Indian government, "Treat us (Kashmiris) in such a way that in case we see each other again as neighbors, you can face us."

The participants who also addressed the protestors were Shahjahan Khan, Javed Khan, Qammar khurshid, Zahid Hussain, and Noushad Hussain. The demonstration was concluded with the decision that the "peaceful struggle will continue on until India quits Kashmir and Khalistan."
