Crying opposition to the Prevention of communal and targeted violence bill 2011

30th Jun and 01st Jul 2012, Hotel Sree Ji Palace, Pandav Nagar, Ghaziabad : In a two days seminar on the prevention of communal and targeted violence bill 2011, concluded here today, speakers from different hues and groups vied with each other in condemning the said bill. Rerspectable  Swami Narendra Nand Saraswati from Varanasi said that the said bill is one sided and aims at isolating the Hindus in their own country. He went to the extent of saying that people should rise in arms, if the need arise, to nip this bill in the bud.Shri Satya Prakash Gupta, an ex Ambassador to a number of countries, said that the drafters of the referred bill be brought to the books in the court and in the public for violating the secular character of this country. Shri R N P Singh, an ex officer of the intelligence bureau, proved with documented statements that communal violence has as a matter of rule rather than exception, has always been perpetrated by the minority in the past. Why the majority be made responsible for it, "he quipped."

Yati Narsingha Nand Ji, Shri Mahesh Ahuja, Shri Har Vilas Gupta, Shri Maya Prakash Tyagi, Shri Dinesh Chandra Tyagi and other dignitaries express their views. This event was organised by Manu Sanskriti Sansthan.

An exclusive session was given to the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha whose National President Col Tejandra Pal Tyagi while conducting the session blew the conch to mark the era of awakening and said in crystal clear terms that the National Advisory Committee of Mrs Sonia Gandhi is communal and unconstitutional and should be disbanded sooner than later in the interest of the Nation. This committee has no right to draft any such bill. Leave aside the passing of the bill, we will not allow even the bill to be presented in the Parliament, " said Col Tyagi". Col R L Goel, Sh V P Sharma, Sh Alok Kumar, Sh Sarvesh Mittal, Col H Thakur, Brig V S Chaudhri, Cdr H S Sharma and many other senior Officers from the Military were of the opinion that the word SECULAR has become the fast food of the opportunistic politics. This word was not there in our Constitution abinitio but it was introduced in the 42nd amendment  brought out during the emergency in 1976.

Advocate Sheetla Shanker Vijay Mishra brought out that even the bureaucrats are being coerced to be partisan with the minorities via this bill since they can be charged for dereliction of duty either when they act or when they do not act. He gave the example of Kashmir regarding "action" and the example of Gujrat regarding "inaction."

Finally a pledge was taken by the great audience to resist  the said bill tooth and nail. In the first phase, awareness campaign will be launched to bring out the provisions of sexual assault, hate propaganda, Targeted Violence, Torture, Dereliction of Duty and abetment which are one sided to issue non bailable warrant against the members of the majority group i.e Hindus.
