India should snap its military ties with Israel

 

Srinagar, November 19: Strongly condemning the fresh Israeli airstrikes in West Bank and Gaza strip in Palestine that has sofar resulted into killing of over 73 people, CPI (M) state secretary M Y Tarigami and Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) chairman Hakim Mohammad Yasin have urged government of India to snap its military ties with Israel.

In a statement issued here today, the two leaders have called upon Indian government to condemn in strongest words the Israeli aggression on Gaza city where military air strikes have not only killed people but destroyed hard gained infrastructure.

Tarigami and Yasin have also called upon the world community to rise to the occasion and ensure no further genocide against helpless Palestinians in Gaza strip.  

"We strongly condemn the renewed military attacks on Gaza. The last five days onslaught on Gaza strip has consumed over 73 lives which include women and children. The entire world needs rise above all political or economic considerations and condemn these military strikes on people of Gaza people," the two leaders stated.  

 
The 1.7 million people of Gaza continue to remain under a brutal siege, with the Israeli stranglehold affecting even basic necessities such as food and medicine, the two leaders said while expressing serious concern over reports indicating that hospitals in the two occupied cities are running out of medicine and power and water supplies have been cut to the Gaza residents.
