On the second day of admissions on Friday, Delhi University colleges continued admitting students beyond the number of seats available with them. The unusual second-day rush saw colleges such as Hindu, Miranda, and Sri Venkateswara admitting even more students than on Thursday. Aspirants were also seen flocking to off-campus colleges to secure seats instead of banking on later cut-off lists. Meanwhile, most colleges remained non-committal on the probability of notifying second cut-off lists, stating that two days remained for admissions on the basis of the first cut-off.
