Interacting Students Movements: Emerging New?, a Public Meeting organized by students in Kolkata against the Brahmanical Fascist assualt on Campus democracy.

A couple of university students from West Bengal, mostly Kolkata, organised a convention titled 'Interacting Students Movements: Emerging New?' tracing the connections between these struggles against the brahminical fascist onslaught!
Students from many universities addressed the gathering and narrated the incidents that took place in their respective universities and exposed the impunity with which the centre and the state governments have been trying to scuttle the voices of dissent and attacking the students who have been exposing the nexus between the institutions and the Sangh parivar!

The speakers included Sunkanna Velpula, one of the rusticated dalit researching scholars from HCU who was termed as a 'dangerous element' by the brahminical administration to stop him from entering the campus which was rightfully his campus as well; Ishan Anand from JNU, who narrated the incidents that took place in the university post the 9th February event and the arrests and the media trial that unfolded; Indrajit from Pondicherry University who narrated the brutality that their then plagiarist VC ordered on them; Shraman from Jadavpur University who spoke on the Hok kolorob movement that emerged as a strong voice against the sexual harassment case of a student of the university which ultimately led to the removal of the VC and other students from Vishwabharati University, Burdwan University, Calcutta Medical College, IISC Bangalore, Presidency University also addressed the gathering.
