Proposed exhibition of anti-Hindu painter M F Husain's paintings is cancelled January 9, 2012 Mumbai : It was announced by management of Westin Hotel from Gurgaon, near New Delhi that the proposed exhibition of paintings by anti-Hindu painter Husain has since been cancelled. Devout Hindus had opposed holding such exhibition.

Sale of distorted pictures of Lord Vishnu by 'A C Moore' stores is stopped by HJS January 9, 2012 Mumbai : Foreign based 'A C Moore Arts and Craft' store used to sell denigrating pictures of Lord Vishnu. The sale has, however, been stopped recently after guidance by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS).

Mumbai : Hindu youth removes 'Cross' after guidance by HJS member January 9, 2012 A Hindu youth named Rohitkumar Tripathi was wearing a 'Cross'. Miss Shraddha Kanase of HJS observed this and she explained the subject to him; after which he removed the 'Cross' and said that he would never wear it again.
