The beauty of forests fills me with awe and sorrow at the same time. I fear for their safety, who knows how soon these will disappear forever?
This will become a reality once the government plunders and destroys all the forests for the coal that lies beneath them. Apart from being important for the livelihood of thousands of people, and holding valuable biodiversity and wildlife, these forests are one of the best habitats in the world for TIGERS. The tiger habitats and wildlife corridors are being threatened by coal mining.
There are sustainable energy solutions of energy efficiency and renewable energy to power our needs. Tigers and the forests can be saved. If you agree, then support the forests to save them from destruction.
You should show your support for the forests because they are home to wildlife and millions of people who depend on them.

The recent government wants to fast-track approval of coal mining in dense forest areas of Central-eastern India.[1] We need to stop them before it's too late. More and more support for forests will help build a movement to protect them.
Coal mining has already destroyed large patches of forests and wildlife corridors in Central India. In Maharashtra, coal mining is now threatening tiger habitats around the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve and cutting off the forest corridors for the tigers to move from one forest to the other.

Whatever's left of the tigers, leopards and other wildlife will come closer to extinction. Research by the IPCC has shown that renewable energy can provide for our growing power needs.[2] Support forests and tigers, save them from becoming plain fiction.
