If any patient is really poor and cannot afford treatment expenses in Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, he/she is entitled to free treatment in this Apollo Hospital, as this Hospital is on 15 acres of public land allotted to it on a monthly rent of Rs.1/- with the condition that the hospital shall provide free treatment to the poor and needy patients to the extent of 1/3rd IPD beds and 40 percent OPD. At present, there are 200 free beds facility available in the Hospital. Delhi Government has posted an EWS Officer at this Hospital to help the poor and needs in the matter providing him/her free medical treatment in the Hospital.
